Trumark Companies received approvals to develop 200 townhomes on a 12-acre site in Newark, California.  The homes range in size from 1,143 to 1,788 square feet in various configurations. Approvals include a General Plan Amendment from Limited Industrial to High Density Residential, Rezoning, Conditional Use Permit and a Tentative Map.  Previous development plans in the 29 homes-per-acre density range proposed by other development groups have failed over the past decade, yet Trumark was able to achieve approvals by balancing neighborhood, Staff and City leader agendas.
