James O'Malley Joins Trumark Companies in Southern California
Former Beazer Homes land acquisitions director tapped as Executive Vice President and General Manager

December 13, 2004 -- Lake Forest, Calif. - In his first move since leading the expansion into Southern California a month ago, Trumark Companies' President Jason Kliewer appointed veteran real estate operator James O'Malley as executive vice president and general manager with overall responsibility to grow the company's presence throughout Southern California.

Prior to joining Trumark Companies, Mr. O’Malley headed up Beazer Homes' Southern California regional land acquisition and forward planning efforts throughout the nine Southland counties. Mr. O’Malley has had more than 20 years of experience in varying capacities of land acquisition, forward planning and land development. He has also worked with such notable companies as Tait and Associates Inc., Hon Development Co. and Robert Bein William Frost & Associates, where he was responsible for due diligence, land planning, and entitlements. During his career, Mr. O'Malley has participated in a large number of successful land transactions and several thousand residential lots being entitled, developed, constructed and sold in the Southern California market place.

As EVP and general manager of Trumark Companies in Southern California, Mr. O’Malley is charged with establishing a land acquisitions group to acquire property, perform land planning, obtain government approvals and permits, provide market research and sell mapped properties to home builders. He received his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in City and Regional Planning from the School of Architecture and Environmental Design at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

In November 2004, The Danville, Calif.-based developer of infill housing developments and neighborhoods announced its expansion into Southern California and subsequent relocation of President Jason Kliewer to Orange County.
